luckiliy i paid only 99 cent. isnt worth even one. bugs bugs bugs. cannot complete butler 5, because the major isnt moving to the extraction point. good approach but bad implementation. only "ok" for battletech collectors.

CTD dont buy

Youd think that something in development for this long could launch without crashing or hanging. Nope, think again. I bought this app because of the franchise even though it was $9.99. I am sorely disappointed. 24 hours after launch, the developer assured me that the update was imminent. (cough) still waiting guys!

Great game and fun but the frequent crashes do cause enough frustration to make me regret paying what I did for the game. I have been a fan of both Battletech and Mechwarrior for many years and hope to see this game get the fixes that it deserves.

Sorry to say, even with the update, it still crashes. I want to like this game, I really do. I cant get past the 6th mission without it crashing.

It looks great and the interface is functional (at least while ordering all units at once BUT it fails for all the more complicated stuff the game seems to expect from you (like using special attacks or breaking your unit into smaller groups). It badly needs a pause feature in which you can give orders in. The lack of customization is also a bit disappointing. It is a fantastic iOS game but for a mechwarrior game it needs some work.

Update 10/16/12 I initially gave it a three with the hope that the stability issues will be fixed. After two patches nothing has improved, so its a giant ONE from me. Id like my money back if I could. This is the worst paid game experience Ive ever had. K

As a fan of the original pen and paper game and most of the video games spawned from it, I was delighted to see this in the App Store. Stays true to the original gameplay and follows the storyline of the clan invasion of the inner sphere very well. Gameplay is well suited to touch controls and Im finding it to be a lot of fun. There are some annoying glitches however that can be quite frustrating, and lead to crashes. Hopefully they will be addressed in future patches. This was obviously created by fans of the original battle-tech universe. Well done!

I picked this up for $0.99 during the 48hr sale and installed it on my iPhone 5 and iPad 2. On the iPhone it runs fine, smooth in the first couple lvls but as for UI design, much could be improved. The functionality I have no issues with. However they should have spent more time on rendering the mechs with more polygons… look at infinity blade… the mechs are too small and I would like a better zoom and angle. Maybe pre-set zoom cameras that follow the mechs as an option. I dont think its worth more than $0.99 until they improve the games 3D assets and effects, its very 2002… thats all I have to say.

iPhone 5 32 GB with 5 GB free space. Not jail broken. Have tried restarting phone but game still crashes. Needs patch fast. When I can actually play the game I will change my rating.

Not what I expect for a Mechwarrior game. Second mission in and the UI is glitching. Tactical menus are showing just parts of icons.

Ok so i dounload it right and i go into all exited because my friend that has a THRD GEN got it and its smooth so i have an iTunes card and i buy this after the freekishly long dounload i start to play and it says "your divide does not meat the requirements" so it lets me see all the videos and fiddle with the Mechlab and it wouldnt let me play (i have a fourth gen) and so i spent 5$ on nothing?!

Very unstable kicks you out of game a lot. Very quick to finish as well need to add more missions.

Im a huge mechwarrior fanboy so it pains me to say this is an unplayable piece of garbage On my iPad mini. The game is unstable even with all options cranked down to lowest settings and cloud options turned off. This needs a patch.

It an amazing game! They have fixed most crash and lag issues and only improvement would be more levels and better graphics. Other than that its an amazing game and i wish there were more like it!

I bought this when it was first released and was looking forward to playing it but it never worked well on my iPad 2, however, since I bought a 128 GB iPad Air 2 it works beautifully. Im having a blast. I am an old time BattleTech player who has played both tabletop and computer versions of the game, I loved that this came out and is finally playable. Great game. More like this please!

not compatible with iOS 9.4... intro screen... then boots you out, back to your homescreen.

Had fun playing but was never able to finish as after updating to iOS 9 the game crashes on loading. No longer works and is unplayable. Please update!
